The Bioinformatics infrastructure facility (BIF) of Holy Cross College forms a part of National Bioinformatics network under the Biotechnology Information System (BTIS) programme of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India for the promotion of Biology Teaching Through Bioinformatics (BTBI).
The facility is available at Dept. of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics of the College and has taken large strides since its establishment in 2006.BIF, Holy Cross College has been relentlessly making efforts to enhance the bioinformatics skills of students by providing state of the art computing facilities with the world’s premier Bioinformatics software packages.
